With its Tuscan inspired form and bearing the seal of the craftsmen who made it, this pot has become a Provence classic. It flanks the front doors of the most beautiful farmhouses of the region, always a chic garden decoration. In homage to the clay used in its fabrication, the Anduze garden pot is decorated in yellows, ochre and olive greens and comes in a variety of forms, like the Biot, the Angelos, or the Faune.
The Madeleine Pottery also explores the world of contemporary outdoor design with the Mazagran, a family of earthenware jars with designer accents: the lines are minimal, the decoration, made up of garlands of flowers and fruit in the classic version, is here replaced by color. Rich and unique, color is the most conspicuous quality of the pots whose glazes are enhanced by touches of enamel that beautifully reflect the Provence sun. Is it wrong to dream of buying a farmhouse just so we can put Anduze pots out the front?
